Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

Wiserunts ("we", "our", or "us") publishes these standards to make our zero-tolerance position against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) clear to users, reviewers, and the public. These standards apply to the Wiserunts app, website, and related services.

1. Zero-tolerance policy

Wiserunts does not allow child sexual abuse material, child sexual exploitation, grooming, or any attempt to sexualize or endanger a minor. This conduct is illegal and is a serious violation of our Terms of Service. We will remove violating content, restrict or terminate accounts, and report CSAE to the appropriate authorities when required by law.

2. Who is a child

For these standards, a child is anyone under 18 years of age, or under the age of majority in their jurisdiction if that age is higher. Wiserunts also enforces regional minimum ages to create an account, which is 13 in many regions and higher where local law requires it.

3. Prohibited CSAE conduct

Users may not create, upload, share, request, store, or attempt to distribute:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including real, generated, or AI-created imagery, video, or audio.
  • Sexualization of minors, including fictional, cartoon, or digitally altered depictions.
  • Grooming, solicitation, or attempts to obtain sexual content from or about a minor.
  • Trafficking, sexual exploitation, or commercial sexual abuse of children.
  • Links, invitations, or instructions that lead to CSAE content or contact.
  • Any attempt to evade age checks, parental controls, or safety and moderation systems for CSAE purposes.

4. How we prevent and detect CSAE

  • Age requirements and teen-safety defaults for users under 18 where those features apply.
  • In-app reporting for posts, comments, profiles, messages, and other user-generated content.
  • Automated and human review of reported or flagged media and text, including image moderation for uploads.
  • Parental and interaction controls that can limit messages, calls, and tags.
  • Account enforcement, including content removal, feature limits, and permanent bans.

5. How to report CSAE

If you see or suspect CSAE on Wiserunts, report it immediately:

  • In the app: use Report on the post, profile, message, or content. Choose the option that best matches child sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor, and include any details that help us find the content quickly.
  • By email: support@wiserunts.com with the subject line “CSAE report”. Include the username, URL or content ID, date/time, and a description. Do not attach illegal images or videos.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. In the United States, reports of CSAM may also be made to the NCMEC CyberTipline.

6. How we respond

  • We prioritize CSAE reports and review them as quickly as possible.
  • We remove violating content when we can identify it and preserve records needed for safety and legal compliance.
  • We disable or terminate accounts used for CSAE, including related or evasion accounts when identified.
  • We report apparent child sexual abuse material to NCMEC or other competent authorities where legally required.
  • We cooperate with lawful investigations and valid legal process.
